ITech Recruiting is Hiring a Technical Architect Near Jersey City, NJ

Accoona Corp., the developer of an artificial intelligence-driven search engine that delivers results most relevant to the meaning of the key words entered and the user's intent is actively seeking an experienced Lead Programmer to oversee and act as architect in the design and implementation of a new internet application.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the architecture and setup of a development, testing and production environment from the ground up
  • Establish and document programming solutions to fulfill business requirements
  • Supervise and lead a team of programmers
  • Assist with troubleshooting and debugging
  • Oversee the QA process

Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Must have 5 years experience in J2EE development including Servlets, JSF, JSP EJB, JMS, JDBC, JNDI/LDAP,RMI
  • Must have experience with WebSphere application server
  • Proficient in multi-tier and multi-thread development
  • Experience with session management, object-relational mapping, XML , and web services and API development
  • Experience with Oracle 9i (10g preferred), SQL coding and strong understanding of database transactions
  • Experience working with large scale mission critical ecommerce applications is a plus
  • Experience in setting up a new development/production environment is a plus
  • Experience working in a startup environment a plus

  • Willing to work in a fast paced, start-up environment with minimal infrastructure and support
